Dear Christians Who Happen to Be Black,
Let me start by saying that identifying a church by race is biblically incorrect. Race has no place in the church or in our hearts. However, it is a driving force within the black community. The very things we accuse whites of are the crimes we actually commit. The generations before ours fought so that we could live, work, and play wherever we liked. What I don’t understand is why they wasted their time on making sure we had these liberties because for decades all we’ve done is segregate ourselves from others and then complain about not being included. How is that logical?
Romans 12:5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
Ephesians 4:25 Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.
Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ I am challenging who you say you are, what you feel, think, and speak. I plead with you to stop compartmentalizing our faith to the point where you are an enemy of God. You say you believe the word of God is inerrant, but you don’t stand up for it, nor do you live by it. The only time God’s word is ever applied to your life is in times of need, want, or despair, and even then you focus only on His promises. You ignore the instructions of God, but with great reverence accept the doctrines of society and expect His blessings.
James 4:3-4 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God
I challenge what your pastor is teaching you. I challenge you to hold him accountable to deliver God’s word and not worldly doctrine. Do you even understand what you’re reading when you read the Bible? Or do you think His commands and judgments are applicable to others and not to you? These questions must be asked to understand why so many black people are unable to apply God’s word to their lives. Not applying the Word to your life or at least admitting the areas you need help with and seeking to change is what living outside of the will of the Lord is all about. Faith is just not about believing things are going to work out for you. Faith is being obedient to God’s word and knowing things will work out for you. Obedience gives you the power to stand upon the word of the Lord.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them–bringing swift destruction on themselves.
Now for those who do know God’s word, who work in the church, and attend church every week yet support the tenets that are against God’s word, you are hypocrites. According to dictionary.com a hypocrite is “a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.” This really makes me wonder perhaps you don’t believe those worldly tenets, but you just don’t have the guts to stand up for the word of God. Maybe some of you don’t realize you are being a hypocrite. Who knows, but it is only too late to turn away from wrong after you’ve taken your last breath to make things right.
Matthew 23:28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
2 Timothy 2:12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
Argue all you will, but disagreeing with or being oblivious to a behavior doesn’t mean you’re not doing that behavior. You support the tenet of ‘spread the wealth’ and vote for politicians who promise you your neighbor’s money, when the word of God (that you say you love so much and is inerrant) says quite a bit about greed and coveting. Perhaps you have never really considered the selfishness and greed at the core of spreading the wealth. When you support such a thing, you are agreeing that it doesn’t matter where it comes from or how unjust it is, as long as you get some of it the means are justifiable. Or do you honestly feel like you’ve done your charity by giving to the needy through government programs. It’s important that you understand you have not accomplished anything in anyway but to harm others and support the very thing that causes them to continue to live hopelessly. You protest those who inherited their fortunes and begrudge them their inheritance, but the word of God (that you believe is inerrant and love so much) instructs us to provide for future generations. How can you support and practice such theft and greed, and try to justify it? How can you be so oblivious to your own hypocrisy?
Exodus 20:17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
Micah 2:1-5 Woe to those who plan iniquity, to those who plot evil on their beds! At morning’s light they carry it out because it is in their power to do it. 2 They covet fields and seize them, and houses, and take them. They defraud a man of his home, a fellowman of his inheritance. 3 Therefore, the LORD says: “I am planning disaster against this people, from which you cannot save yourselves. You will no longer walk proudly, for it will be a time of calamity. 4 In that day men will ridicule you; they will taunt you with this mournful song: ‘We are utterly ruined; my people’s possession is divided up. He takes it from me! He assigns our fields to traitors.’ ” 5 Therefore you will have no one in the assembly of the LORD to divide the land by lot.
When you support abortion and vote for politicians who support abortion, you are again in opposition of God (the God that you say you love so much and believe His word is inerrant). What really boggles the mind is the way you ‘God fearing’ ‘black pride’ having people support institutions such as Planned Parenthood, knowing that it was founded by a racist group of people that worked day and night even used black pastors and other black leaders to promote eugenics. The inception of a racist entity doesn’t anger you. What angers you is a billboard in a black neighborhood saying ‘the womb is the most dangerous place for a black child’. Are you kidding me? Why are you not angry that black pastors were used to promote abortion? Why are you not angry that black God fearing pastors promoted the demise of our future generations? Are you aware that if you counted every black person who has died since the inception of Planned Parenthood and every black baby that has been aborted, more babies were aborted than the total number of blacks who have died by all other means combined? Does this not anger you? Do you not see the plan to kill us off as a people are working? To add insult to injury you stand behind choice as if murder of convenience sanctioned by the government aligns with the word of God, when you know it doesn’t.
Exodus 21:22-23 “If men who are fighting hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman’s husband demands and the court allows. 23 But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life
Exodus 34: 19 “The first offspring of every womb belongs to me, including all the firstborn males of your livestock, whether from herd or flock.
Jeremiah 1:4 -5 The word of the LORD came to me, saying, 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.
I could go on and on pointing out how Christians who happen to be black are living in direct opposition of their faith with more enthusiasm than they put forth in their worship, but I will close with this final question – if God were to ask you why you supported what He said was wrong, what would you say? From the bottom of my heart, I ask you to join me in being the people God has called us to be. Restore Christ in the hearts, thoughts, words, and actions of our people by starting with yourself.
Romans 1:18 – 23 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities–his eternal power and divine nature–have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. 21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
Prove It To Me
2 Corinthians 3:14
But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.
This scripture reminds me of the black community. It is a reminder of how I once thought. At some point while reading this, if you are not in agreement, you will question the reference to this particular scripture. Acknowledge and accept that scripture teaches us Christ is the truth and He did not come to keep us in the dark but to shed light on our wrongs, so that we can be delivered from them. Come to understand there is no wrong in being wrong. The wrong is in staying wrong.
This blog is titled Prove It To Me, because that is the goal – to prove to blacks that we have been hood winked, bamboozled, used, abused, and slaughtered and were served up on a silver platter to white democrats by our own people. In 1939, the woman Margaret Sanger who founded Planned Parenthood issued the following statement to Dr. Clarence Gamble on December 10, 1939, while working together on the Negro Project.
“The minister’s work is also important and he should be trained, perhaps by the Federation as to our ideals and the goal that we hope to reach. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”
The methodology Sanger proposed of training black ministers and community leaders to think like them and spread their disguised racism was successfully used against our people. As a result of training these negros, people like Clarence Thomas, Allen West, Condoleezza Rice, and Herman Cain are vilified for opposing their racist agenda. The following are a few of the black leaders who made up the Birth Control Federation of America’s National Advisory Council [taken from the BCFA Division of Negro Service, stationery, 1940, MSCLC.]
Claude A. Barnett, director, Associated Negro Press, Chicago
Michael J. Bent, M.D., Meharry Medical School, Nashville
Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, president, National Council of Negro Women, Washington, D.C., special advisor to President Roosevelt on minority groups, and founder of Bethune-Cookman College, Daytona Beach
Dr. Dorothy Boulding Ferebee, cum laude graduate of Tufts, president of Alpha Kappa Alpha (the nation’s oldest black sorority), Washington, D.C.
Charles S. Johnson, president, Fisk University, Nashville
Eugene Kinckle Jones, executive secretary, National Urban League, New York
Rev. Adam Clayton Powell Jr., pastor, Abyssinian Baptist Church, New York
Bishop David H. Sims, pastor, African Methodist Episcopal Church, Philadelphia
Arthur Spingarn, president, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
These people sold us out, and the likes of Jackson, Sharpton, Belafonte, and MANY others continue to carry the torch – maybe not for the same reasons, but they certainly made sure our thoughts were the thoughts that Sanger and her racist cohorts wanted us to have. Ask yourself why? The short answer…as a means to control us. Direct your attention to Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune who served as President Roosevelt’s special advisor on minority groups. You see, this is the president who was in office when the Social Security Act was enacted. That’s where the entitlement system that we so lovingly refer to as welfare started.
According to the World English Dictionary the word “welfare” means “health, happiness, prosperity, and well-being in general.” Look at the low income black communities in this nation and you prove to me that the welfare system as enacted by Roosevelt has brought an improvement in health, where it has incited happiness, where blacks are prospering as a result of it, and are in a general state of well-being. What welfare has done to the black community is tragic, but what makes it even worse is that our own people had a hand in it.
Remember the movie Claudine? The scene that stands out to me is how they were scrambling to hide things like a toaster and television from the white welfare worker who came to do a home visit. In order to continue to get welfare this woman couldn’t have a man in the house who cared for her and her children nor could she show any improvement in her life. Don’t go stupid and say “it was just a movie.” In all actuality, that was how it really was back then. In home visits were the norm. This day and age, no white welfare worker in their right minds is willing to knock on the door of a welfare recipient, not to mention the recipients far outnumber the workers. The point is welfare by nature is oppressive.
Welfare destroyed the greatest strength the black community had, which is family. By removing our men from the homes. Once they rendered black men useless to the black woman, the liberal government became the fathers of the very children they hated. Yes…hated…if they gave a darn about the life of a black child the Negro Project would never had been allowed. Every time a white democrat talks about the need for welfare what they are really saying is “you’re too stupid to make your own money, so I’ll give you what I want you to have. Or “I don’t want to risk the chance of you attending school with my kids, getting a better education, earning a decent income and possibly becoming my neighbor, so I’ll give you free housing and keep the schools in your district sub par.” Wake up Black America! The liberal way ain’t never been our way. Democrats/KKK used to stand at the voting polls with nooses to find out what blacks were voting republican… does that alone not make you want to step away from this racist party? They have enslaved us again by way of economics and mentality.
How about this quote “I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” — Lyndon B. Johnson to two governors on Air Force One from the book Inside The White House. This is laughable! Because he did it!! Blacks have always been republicans, we will always have Christian conservative values, but as a result of coercion, glossed over education, and straight up betrayal we have prescribed to the very entity that means to destroy us. Why can’t we equate God’s word with whom we cast our votes? Every time a black person votes for a liberal they are voting for abortion, same sex marriages, and a plethora of other issues that go against the word of God. Stop dropping your faith at the poll door. Remember the cross before you vote for a candidate that is for anything God is against.
Certainly not all white democrats are racists nor do all white republicans give a darn about blacks. Ask yourself what is wrong in thinking all people are capable of succeeding by their volition? What is right about thinking certain people need handouts because it eases your guilt or makes you feel better about yourself? Sympathetic white democrats, please stay out of our lives! You have not helped us at all! The only thing you have managed to do is keep us in this awful state of being dependent filled with bitterness and hatred! You have just about helped us into an early grave. Thank goodness the scales are falling off in droves, but the majority of blacks are determined that everything conservative is wrong and everything liberal is right… “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20.
What Wikipedia has to say about Bethune is enlightening, “she worked for the election of Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1932, and became a member of Roosevelt’s Black Cabinet, sharing the concerns of black people with the Roosevelt administration while spreading Roosevelt’s message to blacks, who had been traditionally Republican voters. Upon her death, columnist Louis E. Martin said, “She gave out faith and hope as if they were pills and she some sort of doctor.”"
WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!! Are you seeing this? Do you see Sanger’s methodology in destroying the black community at work? Are the scales falling off your eyes yet? We’ve only scratched the surface of our history that NO ONE thought necessary to tell is in the proper context, so that we can separate ourselves from these workers of iniquity. It’s time to take our community back!!!
